The facilities of a salt spa complex consist of interconnecting treatment room, changing room with air lock, and operator's room.

The treatment room is approximately 600 sq. ft. The changing room (250 sq. ft.) with air lock (50 sq. ft.) is jointly about 300 sq. ft. The control room is about 100 sq. ft.
Approximately 1000 sq. ft are required to install the complex. The layout and total space of each room in a salt spa complex varies and can be adjusted to your existing premises.

    The length of each session varies from 45 to 60 minutes depending on the client's age. The treatment room can comfortably accommodate 10 patients seated.
    Ten minutes are required to ventilate the treatment room after each session before a new session can begin. Therefore, it is possible to run seven sessions in an 8-hour work day, with 10 minutes of ventilation between sessions.
    Potential sales are $500 per hour of operation or $3500 per eight hours.

Potential sales are derived from a fee of $50 per treatment X 10 people visiting simultaneously. (Our current fee is $49.)

Potential monthly sales per sq.ft. are $3500 X 24 day = $84000 or $84 per sq.ft. per month. $84 per sq.ft. per month x 12month = $1008 per sq.ft. per year.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF A SALT SPA COMPLEX

    The Halocomplex Aerosol Chamber consists of a speleoclimatic chamber and a halogenerator that simulates speleotherapy.

    The spa room can comfortably accommodate 10 patients seated. Its walls and floors are covered with rock salt. The halogenerator, which includes microprocessor controls, blows air containing dry aerosol dispersion into the chamber. The halogenerator operator can adjust the temperature, relative humidity and concentration of the dry aerosol salt particles in the spa room.

   There are four preset levels available for the concentration of the dry sodium chloride, which range between 0.5 to 9 mg/m3. The size of the salt aerosol particles is preset at 1-5mkm. These parameters are found in the natural environments in different speleotherapy centres, which are located in salt caves and mines.

   Typically, sessions last 45 minutes for children and 1 hour for adults each day and may range from 5 to 24 days.

Background
Speleotherapy or underground climatotherapy is a holistic method for respiratory conditions that is used widely in Eastern Europe and Russia. Clients spend 2-3 hours a day in underground salt caves or mines during a 2-3 month period. The atmosphere in the salt cavern or mine, in which dry salt particles are breathed by the person, has a beneficial effect on a person's respiration and helps skin rejuvenation. The healing qualities of salt caves have been known since ancient times and now are widely used in various European health resorts in Austria (Solzbad-Salzetnan), Rumania (Sieged), Poland (Wieliczka), Azerbaijan (Nakhichevan), Kirgizia (Chon-Tous), Russia (Berezniki, Perm region), the Ukraine (Solotvino, Carpathians, Artiomovsk, Donietsk region) and others.

Pre-installation examination and space planning

Identify equipment needs based on spa floor plans.
Develop equipment specifications and budgets.
After the premises have been approved, we will assist you in designing the special separate HVAC system for microclimate control and electrical wiring.
Advising architects and installers of technical specifications.

Equipment Installation

We install the equipment and adjust the aerosol concentration for each mode according to the existing premises, taking into consideration total space (m3) and HVAC system design.
Upon completion of general construction, HVAC, electrical and plumbing work, we will apply a salt cover to walls and the floor.
Our on-site team will supervise the final placement of equipment and check for proper assembly and operation.

We will train staff how to operate the complex.
